Guest Blogging Guidelines for HPZ Marketing

Thank you for your interest in contributing to HPZ Marketing. I’m always open to practical, honest marketing insights that help small business leaders make smarter decisions without being overwhelmed by marketing choices and complexity.

Who I Write For

My readers are B2B and B2C small business owners and CEOs who want clear, actionable marketing advice—without jargon or hype. If your experience can help them build confidence and see measurable results, I’d love to hear from you.

What I’m Looking For

  • Originality: Your post must be original and not published elsewhere.

  • Value: Focus on practical, actionable advice. Avoid self-promotion and sales pitches.

  • Clarity: Use plain language. Explain concepts simply and skip the buzzwords.

  • Length: 1,200–2,000 words is ideal. Make every word count.

  • Tone: Friendly, professional, and supportive—think “helpful expert,” not “lecturing professor.”

Formatting and Structure

  • Use headings, subheadings, and bullet points and numbered lists for easy reading.

  • Keep paragraphs short (3–4 lines max).

  • Include relevant, original visuals where possible. Avoid generic stock images.

  • Only add links that genuinely help the reader. No affiliate, promotional or link stuffing.

  • End your post with a specific question or a clear call to action.

Images and Video

I welcome original images and video that help break up text, make posts more scannable, and support your insights. Visuals should make complex ideas easier to grasp for small business owners and reinforce the practical, approachable tone of HPZ Marketing.

  • Include at least one featured image (1600×650 px) for your post.

  • All post images must be at least 1000px wide for clarity and readability.

  • Please avoid generic stock photos—custom visuals, screenshots, charts, or infographics are preferred and more engaging for my audience.

  • If you have a relevant video or screen recording that adds value, feel free to include it.

  • You’re encouraged to provide a separate social media image (2:1 ratio, such as 1600×800 px) that’s designed to grab attention and encourage clicks.

Thoughtful, original visuals help readers connect with your message and make your post stand out.

Submission Details

  • How to Submit: Please send your draft as a Google Doc.

  • Bio: Include a short author bio (50 words max) and a headshot (350×350 px). You may link to your LinkedIn or company page.

  • Editing: I may edit for clarity, tone, or length to ensure the post fits my audience.

  • Exclusivity: Please don’t publish the post elsewhere for at least two weeks after it appears on my site. If you do republish, update the content and link back to the original.

Promotion

I’ll share your post on my channels, and I encourage you to do the same. Engaging with reader comments is always appreciated.
